Bio: First born daughter of goddess Aphrodite and her lover Ares. But Hephaestus so angered with Aphrodite's betrayal put a curse on Aphrodite's child, that once she is born, she'd live only a year of immortality and on her first birthday would be cast away into the world to live as a mortal. So it happened and Echo was raised by wolves. Like her mother beautiful, and like her father a born warrior. Hated and mocked by most of the gods for her disgraceful birth. She walks alone filled with bitterness, and like her father, uses her anger and short temper to fuel her battles. She now wears a scar that lines from above her right eye down to her jaw, but is still proclaimed to be a beautiful but fallen warrior goddess.

Echo awoke and peered around, having heard the sound of footsteps. Having been raised by wolves, her senses were as keen as her brethren, she climbed up a tree with the silence of a gentle doe and locked her eyes on a young woman.

Dranea hasd decended from the skys and decided to hunt sword in hand she stalked around the trees feeling the presence of another humanoid

Echo growled low and jumped from the trees and rolling on the ground before taking a hunch-like crouching stance a dagger made of bone in hand. Her eyes glinting with danger ready to take anything if this girl decides to fight, "Oooh err oo." 'Who are you'. She grunted in her wolf like sounds.

the woman looked to the girl " Dranea of the highest plains of Britannia , and you creature what be you?" she responded calmly she hadnt even flinched her sword at her side her wild hair pulled back from her face, hr eyes gave of a dark glow

Echo stood a bit more, cocking her head, "Echo, o' teh woolves 'rom teh 'orest o' Darkwell." She said trying to sound more clear.

she sheathed her sword " raised by wolves..bit fairy tale dont you think" she laughed lightly "im looking for mount olympus, do you know the way.. i have a meeting with the greek gods .. i had stopped for a bit of hunting but seeing as these animals are not for my game i must be off" she said with authority

Echo tensed and growled her fists clenched, "D'nt know 'bout 'airy'ales, but I c'n 'ake yeh der." She gave a curt nod and slipped her dagger into the bind of the rag around her right thigh. "Unt ef oo need teh eat." She shrugged, "W'at is dis meetin 'bout?" Echo asked curiously.

Dranea raised an eyebrow " im sorry, i cant understand let me assist for a moment " she waved her finger around " there now everything you say to me ill be able to understand " she clasped her hands together " about the meeting? if you must know im being initiated im an elder goddess from Britannia and i Zeus should accept me"

"Perhaps, but the Olympian gods are spiteful and full of hatred. I'd be wary of them if I were you. They are not kind even to their own." Echo said, though she grew up with wolves, her wolven kindred told her of her tale.

Dranea gave a soft chuckle " i am a goddess as well , mind this i can be just as spiteful " she said crossing her arms " besides im already friendly with Hermes , whom invited me" she gave a soft smile " anyhow please lead on i wish to not be late"

Echo nodded, "I'll lead you there, but I cannot stay." After a moment she said, "I don't think you could do anything half as bad as how they've wronged me." After about half an hour, they reached the top of Mount Olympus, Echo looked at it with hopeful longing for a moment, shaking the away becoming bitter once more. "Here we are."

Dranea nodded her thanks and stepped up to the gates Hermes waved at her and she smiled up at him " are you going to sit there like a goof or let me in?" she asked , after saying that the gate opened and Hermes waved both Dranea and echo through

Echo stiffened and looked around but walked in with Dranea, she followed behind her hoping no one noticed her, though she knew it wasn't going to be very likely.

"Dranea, welcome!" Zeus said in his booming voice, opening his arms in a welcoming gesture, "We've been awaiting you."

Echo pulled her grey cloak closer, her hood covering her face, hoping no one made any mention too much of her.

Dranea bowed her head " mi'lord thank you for having me, tis a honor" she smiled looking at the other deities around her

"Dionysus." Zeus nodded.

Dionysus popped a cork and offered her a tall glass of wine, "Drink, be merry, and we shall talk about your joining, would your servant like a drink as well?"

Echo clenched her fists but stayed silent, trying not to breathe. Her nerves were on the brink, she pleaded to herself that Dranea would not mention her.

A roguishly hot male came up and leaned against the wall, "So this is the woman we've been waiting for? What's your game lady? What makes you shine?" He asked with a slow small smirk.

Dranea bowed her head to dionysus " not my servant, she does as she pleases" she then turned to the man " my game?instinct.. be it in battle or in the home" she smirked "either way i always have instinct give in .." she laughed lightly " i am Dranea my lord if you didnt already know, and you are?"

Dionysus offered but Echo shook her cloaked head. She looked up slightly and her heart caught in her throat, at the sight of her mother and father. Echo shivered, and withdrew more into the shadows.

"Lord Ares, god of War" he said with a devilish smirk. "So goddess of Instinct huh?"

Dranea nodded " mm yes instinct.. and its telling me you are important" she smiled at Ares " show me around?'' she asked watching echo out of the corner of her eye

Ares nodded, "Fine, follow me." The others were about to disperse when Zeus said, "You there, if youre not Dranea's servant who are you?"
Echo tried to leave, but she tripped on her cloak and she fell on her back her hood falling off and many laughed at her. Aphrodite raised a brow, "What are you doing here?"
"Leaving." She growled lightly.
"Return to earth, you are not welcome here child."
"Only because my own parents shunned me." Echo hissed

Dranea stoped "wait.. why does she not belong here, i know i am new but my instinct tells me to stand up for her.. i cannot deny my calling"

"She was a mistake, a godling that was not meant to be born." Aphrodite said lightly with a shamed face. Echo got up, "Dranea, this is where I must depart with you."

Dranea backed down " if you wish, i will not delay you further" she turned her attention back to Ares " i apologize , in Britannia children are not shunned, i shall do my best to fit with the Grecian customs"

"It's not a Greecian custom, Echo, was the result of the original affair between Ares and Aphrodite, Hephastes cursed the kid and well she's not exactly favored amidst her family." A grey eyed black haired man, in dark souless clothes said as he leaned against a column.
