Darcy was about to comment when Charles came in, "Good morning friends, the Bennett's will be over for supper toniggt."

"Npthing sir, why do you say so?" She grinned her pearly white teeth gleaming with the fun banter.

Ari smiled " fantasticc, i shall do my best to make friends with the bennets? are their any daughters?" she asked with some joy


George smiled " i ask for you seemed to have ignored me this morning , angel , so i figured i must have done something wrong and we woulndt want that now would we?"

"Five to be precise, Jane, Elizabeth, Mary, Kitty, and Lydia." Bingley said.

"I suppose not." She teased, facing him full on now.

Ari smiled " splendid " she said simply she looked to darcy " are you prepared for this eventful evening?"

George grinned " and where abouts is this angel headed, may i ask?"

"I am always ready for anything." He shrugged.

"I am looking for a place to shop for clothes later. You see as I have only recently came here my sister and I have no new dresses.But dear me, I have no idea where to go. I wish there was a kind gentleman who could show me around the city." She said with sarcastic teasing as she laid the hint thickly into it.

George smiled " well then , angel i can be of service , for i have nothing better to do " he grinned and held out his arm for her to take " i know of the best places to get fine dresses , and i may be able to help pay for them if you wish"


Ari smiled " that is good to hear , for i am sure depending on the bennet sisters ages some will be giggly and childlike " she said with a hint of teasing

"indeed." Darcy said knowing that would be a pain as most young ladies seemed to fawn over him.

Rozetta smiled warmly now, "What a gentleman you can be." She said taki g his arm and strode along beside him.

Ari had a idea " Mr. Darcy , as im sure you are slightly uncomfortable with the idea of young ladies gawking , how about i stick to your side the whole night? will that make you feel better?" she said as if she had read his mind " what do you think cousin?" she looked at Bingley and smiled toying with a sort of green colored stone in her fingers


George smiled " i try my hardest miss angel to be as such a gentleman i can be" he led her to a dress shop and walked in " madam i need the finest dresses for this beautiful angel" he grinned


the shop lady smiled " of course , come with me dear lets get you measured"

Darcy nodded.
"That sounds like a splendid idea!" Bingley agreed.

Rozetta blushed so brightly she covered half her face with her hand, "You are too much Mr. Wickham."

Ari smiled " then it is settled durring dinner i shall keep Mr.Darcy's attention all to myself " she grinned " oh how selfish i am" she then giggled lightly


George smiled " i do my best" he said paying the shop woman in advance with what money he had on him

Rozetta bought a few beautiful dresses and grinned, "Thank you Mr. Wickham, that is very kind of you."

Darcy secretly thought, No. It is me who is selfish, I don't know whart it is about her, but I'm drawn to her.

Ari smiled lightly and returned her attention to the stones silently ...after a while she started to hum

George smiled "it is my pleasure madam, is there anything else you would like to do? maybe lunch? on me of course"

"What's the tune?" Darcy asked as Bingley went to prepare.

Rozetta genuinely smiled with her soft kindness, "Are you trying to court me?" It was not a tease buta true question.

George smiled " that is up to you to decide, i just want to get to know you" he answered honestly


Ari look up " hmm , oh tis a celtic song i heard while on the road , and it stuck to me like honey on toast " she laughed lightly "it goes like When in the springtime of the year ,When the trees are crowned with leaves, When the ash and oak, and the birch and yew,Are dressed in ribbons fair." she smield at the lyrics " its called the mummers dance, and that is the only words i remember from it honestly"

He nods, "You should sing when they arrive."

"Then I would love to take lunch."

Ari blushed " it will be the first time ive ever sung in front of others besides my sister... except for a moment ago that bit of the song " she laughed lightly " are you positive that i should?" she turned to him her cheeks still stained with blush


George smiled with triumph " then lunch we shall have " he offered his arm to her again and led her away to a bread and meat shop " pick you choice and i shall pick mine and we shall go eat over by the groves there"

"I don't doubt it Ari. I shall play the piano if it pleases you." He said with his usual stony composure.

Rozetta chose a simple steak with potatoes and a hoagie roll, "Are you really doing this to get to know me? You're not compelled to do it for chivalry purposes?"

George looked at her " chivalry and getting to know you , is that alright with you?" he asked picking his food paying for it and leading her to the tree under the sun



Ari smiled " as you wish " she said simply and returned her gaze to the stones then a thought " cousin? should i wear a nicer dress? for when the Bennett's arrive, or is this one adequate?"

Rozetta nodded, and relished in the warmth, and ate her food. She glanced at George then turned away blushing, "Yes, that sounds nice."

Bingley tapped his chin, "Perhaps we should go into town and pick up so4 dresses and of course Rozetta."

Ari smiled " she must have found what she was looking for , hence her not returning " she laughed lightly and stood brushing her self off " i shall go and get ready then " she curtsied to Darcy and bingley and left the room to the men

George smiled " so your sister, do you and her get along well? and where are you staying?"

Darcy took a sip of his wine, "Im sure tonight will be eventful." He said wth quiet sarcasm.
Bingley chuckled, "At least you will have Ari to entertain you."

Rozetta smiled lightly, face down, "She's everything to me. She's...the only one I have left."

Ari got up to the room and grabbed a bonnet and cloak and returned down the stairs




George tilted his head " you care deeply for her , if i may ask the age in which you lost everything else?"

Rozetta smiled weakly and nodded, "We were ten." Rozetta then proceeded to tell the whole story, in its closest to the truth way.

Darcy and Bingley both stood to greet the entering lady.

George listened carefully " ah i see , a fire is most dangerous if not controlled" he commented


Ari smiled lightly and gave a curtsy " are we ready?"

Rozetta hid a sniff nand nodded. "yes. I wish there was someway I could've done something to fix it though."

Bingley nodded, "We'll take the carriage." He said and sent off to get servants to bring it around. Darcy took her arm in an escorting fashion, and said, "What colors of dresses do you prefer?"
