Pride and Prejuidce: Beyond the Realm of Imagination

"Yes, don't mind me." Rozetta said sending Ari a grinning accusing look.
"its quite alright, but I daresay, we should go to supper before supper cools." Bingley said offering his arm to Rozetta as her escort. Rozetta nodded and politely took his arm.
Darcy strode up beside Ari and offered his arm to her.

Ari took it keeping herself calm in her mind all she could think is ;hes touching oh my god william darcy is touching me ; she smiled politely at him and and thanked him , as they reached the dining table she gazed in wonder at it " oh its so lovely" she spurted randomly and clapped her hand over her mouth " sorry" she mumbled

Mr. Bingley smiled, "Dont be sorry, its made of the finest cherrywood, polished and kept up. I'm pleased that you find it to you liking he said leading Rozetta to a chair and helping her into it. Darcy let Ari go long enough to pull out a chair for her as well. Soon enough supper was placed upon the table.
"Enjoy." Charles said and began to eat.

Ari smiled some more hardly able to hide her blush she put a napkin on her lap , and looked to her sister and whispered " it wasnt very hard udjusting ourselves to this lifestyle" she smiled kindly toward the men and giggled lightly at her sister " also he will never understand that reference so dont laugh so hard "

Rozetta nodded, and giggled, "Well it was too hard for me to resist." She said lightly.
They enjoyed the rest of the meal with small talk made and Bingley showed them to their room.
Bingley and Darcy retired to the parlor stoking the fire and settling down into the luxurious armchairs beside the warming heat. Glasses of wine nestled in their palms.
"What do you make of these girls Darcy?" Bingley questioned.
"Well for starters Rozetta is rather feisty, and very incorrigible. As for Arribella...." He paused unsure how to speak of her, "She's...tolerable, I suppose."
Bingley smiled, "Well I'm glad happy you think so highly of her."

Ari lay in the bed after shedding the over gown and smiled " oh goodness gracious what a marvelous day, did you see how kind he was to me? much nicer than he was toward lizzie in the first few chapters " she grinned madly " oh i adore him so" she sighed softly " so marvelous that we happen upon this world on a day we where in full costume and left our mobiles at home " she laughed lightly

Rozetta hugged her sister, "See? I told you everything would be just fine. And you were worried about the Bennett sisters. Rozetta settled under the covers and hugged her sister's waist and rested her head against her sister's back.
Darcy was just heading to his room when he heard the girls giggling and speaking of their events since their arrival to the manor. He shook his head astonished by these girls, especially the quirky simple minded one. She was quite different from the others he had seen before. Both of them. He then left and retired to his bed.
The following morning Bingley approached Darcy, "I plan on the four of us going on a round of horse back on the estate. Would you inform the girls as I see to it that the horses are ready?"
Darcy nodded and headed to the girl's room.
Rozetta and her sister were already up, "Arribella...what are we going to do about the book? If anyone sees the book, it could ruin everything."
Suddenly the door was knocked upon.
"Uh...enter, we're decent." Rozetta said without thinking.
Darcy entered, "Bingley invites you two to join us on a romp around his estate." He then noticed the book, "What manner of book is that?"
"Oh! Uh," Rozetta snatched it up and threw it into the fire, "Nothing! It is a wretched tale, nothing more."
Darcy said nothing but gave a curt nod, "Come along when you both are ready.". He said and left.
Rozetta sighed with relief when he was gone, and turned to her sister, "Remind me to never do that again, and if I do, you have full permission to slap me."

Ari looked at the burning book and laughed " alright , wonder what type horse i shall be riding, sounds exciting, Rosie... would it be terrible if i said i wanted to stay here and never return to our flat in southminster " she said pulling her belt on and pulling her hair into a single braid

Rozetta sighed, "Even if that were our real place of living, I'd say no, it is not wrong for you to never return. It's not like we have anything to return to. Well let's be off."

Ari nodded " indeed lets , i suppose my nickname will be unused from now on" she said thoughtfully as they left the room and headed down to meet darcy and mr. Bingley

"I doubt it, why don't you mention it?" Rozetta said, "I'll be sure to say it more often. But I'm sure they don't say it out of polite formality." She said as they walked out the front doors.
Darcy took Aribella by the waist and lifted her onto a beautiful offwhite horse with ivory Maine and tail. Rozetta stopped frozen cold as she looked at the beautiful horse she was provided, "I...I can't." She said frightened.
"Don't be silly, of course you can." Bingley said.
"No, I-i think I'll just stay here." Rozetta proclaimed.
Bingley chuckled, "Dont fret, as soon as you are on, you'll be fine."
He helped Rozetta up, but the horse sensed her fear and took off. Rozetta screamed in worry as she was carried off.
The horse had neared a dirt when she was tossed off.

Ari gasped " oh rosie... she has a terrible fear of horses it would have been better for her to have stayed behind " she said softly " i do hope she is okay, and has not fallen off" she sighed lightly


a man not far off saw the girl fall and ran over " my dear lady are you alright?" he asked her helping her up

"im quite alright!" She said with a sharp tone with tears on her cheeks.

Darcy then asked, "if you knew of this why did you not say something?"
"or go after her?" Bingley inquired.

the man looked at her " you are embarrassed , and have a fear of horses i take it?" he asked wiping dirt and tears off her face with a hankercheif


Ari blushed lightly " she would only be embarrassed if i had gone after her leaving our kind friends behind us , and she is also quite shy about her fears "

Rozetta muffled a sniffle, "Dont fret nor mock me..." She looked up at him with a small uncomfortable smile.

"so it is a manner of pride then." Darcy replied

the man smiled softly " dont worry , i wont tell anyone what happened here today, if you give me your name mi'lady" he sade after cleaning the rest of her face and seeing her eyes shine at him

Ari gave a small smile " well yes i guess , we may be sisters , twins at that but we are completely different regarding pride, i guess really " she said softly " its really a matter of timing "

"i think I will call your bluff and not tell you my name." She said regaining her cheeky demeanor, "But you may call me Miss Key. I suppose I should thank you."

"i do assume we'll find her as we make our rounds." Darcy said nonchalantly.

the man bowed " Miss key , i am Whickham , George Whickham" he said extending her a hand " tis a pleasure to meet you"


"i suppose" Ari said softly " she is my sister and it is the right thing to do, but suppose someone finds her and assists her for us what then shall we do?

"Then perhaps you will no longer have to be burdened by her, and let her find chance upon assistance. Let's just be on our ride now. You will be joining Bingley I, will you not?" Darcy asked.

Rozetta took his hand and gave a light curtsy, "The pleasure is mine, Mr. Wickham." She said with best saucy smile.

Whickam smiled at her " ah she has brightened up , and her smile lights the day" he said with simple tease


Ari laughed lightly " of course Mr.Darcy, i am indeed joining , i do have a simple request of you though Mr. Darcy , could you prehaps call me Ari? it is a name i often go by and it would delight me if you could prehaps call me by it?" she asked softly

Rozetta averted her eyes from him, pink from blush tinged at her cheeks. "You are quite a piece of work I must say. I rather find men of your wit, quite...intriguing and I say that in the lowest regard." She teased.

Darcy coughed and cleared her throat, "perhaps I shall. Ari, alright then. I shall address you as such. Though it is improper. But your not any sort of proper I've ever met."

Ari smiled " proper? what if proper was wearing a codfish on your head? would you do it?" she smiled trotting the horse up beside him " i would rather not wear a codfish on my head and look silly"

George chuckled lightly " and a lady such as yourself grants my eye to watch and to fancy"

"I suppose not. It would not be practical. That may be possibly why I cannot understand a hair of you. I must admit, I do not know what to make of you." Darcy confessed I'm a firm manner.

Rozetta laughed, "You are too much Mr. Wickham, too much insults andsomy cheeks may well run out of red paint to color my cheeks with blush."

Ari smiled " i suppose i shall puzzle you more Mr. Darcy " she said riding ahead of him so that all he could take notice of was her braid swinging at the small of her back


George grinned " i must ask where you came from miss key? heaven maybe?"

"Oh I'm so far from saintly that it would be more likely I came from the other place. Which would explain why I have such a saucy way with words. Oh dear, I should find my sister. Now she's an angel of I ever met one." Rozetta said, "I came from Saint Minster."

Darcy really had no idea what to make of this woman, so in response he sped up till his horse was a head further. "Suppose I put two and two together and try to figure you out. What say you then?"
